True Happiness

1.
It is our duty to create a world of happiness.

2.
Here are the things that lead to a happy life:
Study someone whose life is happy.
Find a teacher whose values you admire.
Always have a child in your life.
Associate with people whose judgments you trust,
Look to people whose lives serve as an inspiration.
Live your life so the gap between what you say
and what you do is small.

3.
There is no happiness without harmony.
There is no harmony without respect.
Therefore, respect others and you will find happiness.

4.
There is no happiness without justice.
Therefore, if you want to be happy, act justly.

5.
Begrudging others leads to disharmony.
Without harmony there can be no happiness.
Therefore, let go of grudges and restore harmony.
In a harmonious world, happiness is possible.

6.
To find happiness at the expense of others
is an offence against the community.
To offend the community is to be self-centered.
That which is self-centered is short-lived.
Therefore, it is best to forgo happiness today
than to suffer unhappiness for many days to come.

7.
Giving brings happiness to both the receiver
and the giver when the gift is properly given.
Gifts that bring happiness to the receiver
and the giver together are the greatest gifts.
Therefore, be thoughtful and careful in what and how you give.

8.
Receiving gifts graciously is a gift to the giver.
Graciousness is a gift of the heart.
A gift of the heart is a gift of happiness.

9.
Others become happy when you shine the light of appreciation upon them.

10.
Being cherished is a source of supreme happiness.

11.
You are most happy when you act upon compassionate feelings.

12.
When our hearts have been opened happiness is infinite.
